Sprouting Jars

Growing sprouts is like having a magical miniature garden in your kitchen that grows the most perfect, crisp, refreshing, microgreens. These tasty miniature greens pack in some serious nutrition! Sprouts contain 100 times more enzymes than other vegetables and have more nutrients than almost any other food including more vitamins, minerals, and cancer-fighting antioxidants.

Place the soaked seeds in your glass mason jar and cover them with water. Let them sit overnight. In the morning, add clean water to rinse the sprouts and remove debris. Drain the water and place in a bright, warm place out of direct sunlight on their side or inverted on a towel allowing good ventilation to germinate the seeds. Rinse the sprouts 1-2 more times every day. rinse and repeat. Sprouts should be ready to eat within 3-7 days.
