New Improved Superfood, an advanced organic fertiliser that will transform the way you nourish your plants while safeguarding their well-being. Our improved formula harnesses the power of soldier fly frass and chitin, delivering unparalleled benefits to your garden. Join us in closing the loop in food production, eliminating waste, and reducing our carbon footprint to zero!
But what exactly is soldier fly larvae frass and chitin, and how do they benefit your plants and the environment?
Let us break it down for you in simple terms:
Soldier fly larvae frass is the natural byproduct of the larvae stage of the soldier fly. These larvae are raised on a diet of food that has not hit the consumer market, ensuring they aren't exposed to contaminants or waste. As they consume this food, they produce nutrient-rich frass that forms the foundation of Superfood. This frass is meticulously harvested and transformed into two variants: a fine-grade and a coarse-grade fertiliser.
Chitin, on the other hand, is a polysaccharide found in the exoskeletons of insects like soldier flies. This remarkable substance acts as a shield, protecting the larvae as they grow. When incorporated into Superfood, chitin offers incredible benefits for your plants too.
So, how does Superfood help plants?
Nutrient-rich goodness: Superfood provides a balanced blend of essential nutrients, minerals, and trace elements necessary for robust plant growth and development. It nourishes your plants from the roots up, promoting healthy foliage, vibrant blooms, and abundant yields.
Slow-release magic: Our coarse-grade Superfood offers a slow-release mechanism, ensuring a steady supply of nutrients to your plants over an extended period. This slow-release feature eliminates the risk of nutrient overload and prevents leaching, allowing your plants to thrive consistently.
Soil superhero: Superfood enhances soil fertility and structure. By replenishing vital nutrients, it revitalises the soil, making it more fertile for future plantings. This fosters a healthier microbial environment, which benefits both the soil and the plants.
Good fungi's ally: Superfood encourages the growth of beneficial fungi, such as mycorrhizal fungi, which form symbiotic relationships with plant roots. These fungi help plants access nutrients more efficiently, enhance root development, improve water uptake, and boost overall resilience.
With Superfood, you are not just providing optimal nutrition to your plants, but also playing an active role in closing the food production loop, reducing waste, and minimizing your environmental impact. By choosing Superfood, you are investing in a sustainable future for agriculture.
